THE EARLY DETHRONE
This picture, taken in Marko Kamarjanskij´s basement is only one of the early lineups of Dethrone. This has all four recording members on Let the Day Begin and it is the first official band picture. It features a hand made background canvas with the band´s original logo sewn on. Marko performed on two gigs with Dethrone and after that it was time to head in separate directions.
LET THE CAREER BEGIN
This is the first official promo picture of Dethrone and it was taken behind Tampere railway station. The other picture from this series features on the back cover of the Poko edition of Let the Day Begin. The serious faces are due to the sun shining straight into our eyes. Picture was taken by Kari Lahtinen.
FINNISH AVANT-GARDE METAL
This picture in taken for the album Decay of the Man. It is a photo manipulation and is taken in a very small apartment Niko used to live. It is a first official band picture featuring Tony Valoma, the legendary guitar player behind the guitar walls in Decay and band member to this day.
THE SECOND COMING
The band was disbanded somewhere around 1993. Jouni Rinta passed away december 2000. Although the friendship has never faded, it took over 20 years to get the band together again to make music and play.
